How can I explain how much of a Hitchhiker's Guide fan I am? Well, back in the heady days of the late 1990s, I met a girl online who started a message board for the Guide, and long story short, we've been married for five years now. We may not go all out and have the number 42 tattooed on our foreheads or anything, but the Guide brought us together, and our leather-bound gold leaf edition of the Guide is never far out of reach. I mean, let's face it. You know you're a nerd for the series when you find yourself arguing until you're blue in the face with someone that "hoopy" is a noun, not an adjective (or at best, it's some kind of galactic cross-breed of the two). What are the odds of two people who love the series that much finding wedded bliss? You'd probably need an Improbability Drive to figure it out.
